NSCDC arrests 3 suspects over alleged cultism, vandalism, fraud in Ebonyi

The Nigeria Security and civil defense corps, NSCDC, Ebonyi State command on Tuesday said it has arrested three suspects over alleged involvement in cultism, vandalism and defrauding, one Elom Chibuike of his hard-earned #1.5 million in the state.
The suspects; Agbo Amobi Ngbo ‘M’ 21yrs and hails from Ohaukwu LGA, Mr. Mbam Friday ‘M’ 19yrs and hails from Oterufie, Ugwuahara community in Ebonyi LGA and Okoro David Samuel ‘M’ 31yrs and hails from Okposi Okwu, Ohaozara LGA.
The Commandant of the Nigeria security and civil defense corps, NSCDC, Ebonyi State command, Francis Nnadi who spoke to newsmen in Abakaliki, through the commands public relations officer, PRO, Mrs. AscI Emmanuella Ibeneme, said that the command is prepared to raid the state from crimes.
The Commandant, Nnadi said: “Agbo Amobi Ngbo was arrested for stealing/ threat to life and assault. He is a known criminal that has been terrorizing the community and was released from correctional centre (prison) recently. He attacked one Elom Chibuike with a knife and collected the sum of #1.5m from him.

“He assaulted the boy and threatened to kill him. Investigation has been concluded and the matter will be charged to court. Mr. Mbam Friday was arrested for an alleged case of cultism at Neighbor Of Poke community secondary school following a tip-off where he and others at large usually go with dangerous weapons to format students.
“Investigation ongoing and will be charged to court immediately after investigation. Okoro Samuel was arrested for alleged vandalization of government properties. He was arrested at Ebonyi shopping mall where he vandalized electricity fittings – Besen led control for CCTC Camera” the commandant, Nnadi stressed.
