2027: Ogah, Ojimba, others emerge as leaders of Tinubu Support Group in Ebonyi

The lawmaker representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chinedu Ogah and other prominent Ebonyi stakeholders have ahead of the 2027 general elections been inaugurated into leadership positions of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in the state.

Ogah, who was reappointed as the Ebonyi State Coordinator of the group for the second time since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office, is expected to spearhead grassroots mobilisation and political engagement in support of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Also appointed to key positions were prominent stakeholders, including Chikaodili Ojimba, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Steve Nwakpa, Nkemka Onuma Okoro and Chief Alison Eke.

Other members of the new leadership include, Oliver Nwachukwu, State Secretary; Ken Okoro, Director; Prince Arthur Ude Omanta, Director of Youth; and Mrs. Eucharia Orogbo, Director of Women Affairs.

The inauguration, which attracted prominent political leaders, was attended by Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf; Senate President, Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; and other national and state political leaders.

The reappointment of Ogah and the emergence of other prominent Ebonyi stakeholders are coming at a time political activities are gathering momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The new Tinubu Support Group leadership is expected to deepen grassroots mobilisation, coordinate political engagement and sensitize residents on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.

The group is also expected to strengthen its presence across communities in Ebonyi and take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda closer to the people.

The development could further broaden support for the Tinubu administration in the state, particularly with the involvement of political stakeholders drawn from different platforms.

In Ebonyi, the TSG activities are expected to complement existing grassroots engagement and support people-oriented governance initiatives under Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s People’s Charter of Needs agenda.

The newly inaugurated leaders were urged to use their positions to strengthen mobilisation, promote constructive engagement with the electorate and advance the message of Renewed Hope ahead of the 2027 elections.
