Ebonyi: Gov, Nwifuru tasks Muslims to pray for Tinubu to actualize his economic reforms

The governor of Ebonyi State Francis Nwifuru at the weekend tasked Muslims to leverage the Eid-El-Fitr season and pray for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualize his economic reforms in the country.
Nwifuru who made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, equally urged the Muslims to pray for the peace and unity of the nation.
The governor further reminded them to note the significance of Ramadam describing it as a time of gratitude, love, and unity.
The statement reads in part: “It reminds us of the values of patience, compassion, and generosity that Islam teaches.

“As we mark this joyous day, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to peace, tolerance, and mutual respect”.
“As we celebrate, I encourage everyone to extend kindness to the less privileged, promote social cohesion, and uphold the principles of justice and fairness”.
Nwifuru, however, reiterated his commitment to carrying everybody along in the scheme of things in respect of tribes and commended Muslims in the State for their peaceful disposition and contributions to the development of the State.
