Few Days after joining Gov Bala to APM, Rep Aspirant defects to NDC in Bauchi

Just eight days after joining Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to their new political party of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) Iliya Godiya Wakil on Friday defected to the African Democratic Party (NDC).

Wakil announced his defection to NDC in Abuja immediately after purchasing the interest nomination form to contest for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency.

He said that NDC remains the only trusted political party that will shine in the next year general election to come.

According to him said that “This significant milestone represents not merely a political aspiration but a resolute commitment to transformative leadership, progressive representation, and selfless service to our constituents.

He further said that”My decision emanates from an unwavering determination to champion the collective interests of our people and to advocate policies that will stimulate sustainable development, economic empowerment, educational advancement, infrastructural renewal, and social prosperity”

“Our constituency possesses immense potential that requires visionary leadership, strategic engagement, and inclusive governance to unlock. I remain convinced that through purposeful representation, collaborative partnerships, and people-centered policies”

“This movement transcends personal ambition; it is a collective mission inspired by the yearning for quality representation and enduring progress”

Wakil said that he will be a persistent voice for the extension of the national grid to more communities and for sustainable solar-powered boreholes to ensure clean water.

He said to also construction and renovate dilapidated primary and secondary schools buildings across the constituency, provision of learning materials and work to attract qualified teachers. A robust, transparent scholarship scheme for brilliant but indigent students in tertiary institutions.
