2027: NDC Reps Candidate, Agwu vows to win election
….. inaugurate grassroot structures in Afikpo, Edda LGAs

The House of Representative’s candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, for Afikpo/Edda federal constituency, Chief Agwu Ama Agwu at the weekend vowed to win election in the forthcoming 2027 general election in the state.
Agwu inaugurated grassroot political mobilizers on the aegis of ‘Agwu Ama Movement’ and was massively attended by prominent stakeholders in Afikpo and Edda LGAs.
The event which took place at Ebuwana Civic Center, Edda LGA and Amuro Town Hall, Afikpo LGA, according to reports, was conducted peacefully and in orderly manner, without hitches.

The Nations News reports that those inaugurated includes; ward coordinators, youth leaders, women leaders, and critical stakeholders from Edda and Afikpo respectively.
It was gathered that those inaugurated includes; five Village representatives, ten Youth Leaders, ten Women Leaders, and ten Critical Stakeholders per ward.
The NDC house of representative candidate, Agwu who spoke during the inauguration charged all supporters and members to see the inauguration not as a celebration, but as a call to duty.
“This structure wins elections. Unity wins the future,” he declared.
He urged every coordinator to return to their villages and ensure _no compound, no kindred is left behind in the mission to deliver purposeful representation.
In a remark, the director general, DG, ‘Agwu Ama Movement’, Chukwuma Imo Oka, urged the stakeholders and ward coordinators to be loyal and should put in their energy to ensure the victory of the candidate, Agwu come 2027 polls.
“You are the engine room. Your loyalty, organization, and discipline at the ward and village level will determine victory at the polls. And you should Mobilize your people.

Responding, Sam Ukpai, an elder statesman admonished NDC party faithful and canvassers to remain united, focused, and issue-based.
He reminded them that the movement is built on service, equity, and people-first leadership, not division.
Another stakeholder, Mr. Enyinnaya, applauded the successful inauguration and charged the newly inaugurated structure to “do more at the grassroots.”
According to him, “The real election is won in the villages. Let the people feel Agwu Ama Movement in every home.” he stressed.
The Ward Coordinators, however pledged unalloyed loyalty to the political ambition of Agwu Ama Agwu.
They assured the leadership that they will work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure victory in the forthcoming general election in the state.
In a related development, the NDC house of Representative’s candidate, Agwu further consulted with traditional rulers in Oso Edda, Itim Afikpo, Ebuwana, Unwana, and Owutu communities.
