The newly established Euston University, Balalaika, Ebonyi State, has commenced admission into five academic programmes approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university announced that the approved programmes include Nursing Science, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Cyber Security and Computer Science.
In a statement signed by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Felicia Moh, the institution called on suitably qualified candidates to take advantage of the opportunity by obtaining admission forms at the university or through its official website.

Moh urged prospective students to complete the application forms and submit them alongside the necessary supporting documents for consideration.
She expressed appreciation to the NUC for conducting the Resource Verification Exercise and granting approval for the commencement of the five programmes, describing the development as a major milestone in the institution’s growth.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed the university’s commitment to meeting and sustaining the regulatory standards prescribed by the NUC to ensure quality education and academic excellence.
She also commended the university’s Chancellor, Lady Eunice Egwu, for her vision, investment and commitment to expanding access to quality higher education, particularly for young people in Ebonyi State and beyond.
According to her, the university has made significant investments in infrastructure, academic facilities and human resources to provide a conducive environment for teaching, learning and research.
Moh further applauded the leadership of the NUC for its ongoing reforms and efforts to strengthen the quality, relevance and competitiveness of university education in Nigeria.
She said the successful Resource Verification Exercise and subsequent approval of the programmes had positioned the institution to commence academic activities in the approved disciplines.
“The successful Resource Verification Exercise and subsequent approval by the NUC represent a significant milestone in the development of Euston University and pave the way for the commencement of academic activities in the approved programmes,” she stated.

Moh urged prospective students, parents, guardians and other members of the public to seize the opportunity to secure admission into the available programmes.
She, however, disclosed that admission spaces were limited, advising interested candidates to complete their applications promptly.
The commencement of admission is expected to expand access to tertiary education in Ebonyi State, particularly in health-related and technology-driven disciplines, while providing more opportunities for qualified young Nigerians seeking university education.
