The Council boss, commended the state governor, Bala administration’s plan partnering with donors to establish semi-earth dams and drive livestock development across the state.
While Chida Dogo Kushi, a veterinary doctor in the local government, said the campaign will strengthen the resilience of local ag-ropastoral communities to environmental and economic challenges.
“This program will address these challenges by working with traditional pastoralist leaders and other domestic rearers to vaccinate their cattle to reduce the risk of disease transmission to wildlife inside and support sustainable livestock management practices,” she added.
