Over ₦7 Million to Be Won in Enugu Campaign Jingles Competition

The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Enugu state governor on Mainstream Media, in partnership with the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (TIH), invites talented individuals and groups to participate in the 2026 Jingles Competition on Good Governance in the State.

In a statement signed by the SSA mainstream media to Enugu governor Dan Nwomeh and state coordinator TIH Tony Okonkwo, said that the competition seeks to discover and promote home-grown musical talents, encourage creativity, 

And provide a platform for musicians and content creators to showcase their abilities while producing compelling jingles that highlight the transformational leadership, developmental achievements, and people-centred programmes of the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

The competition is designed to source original, captivating, and memorable campaign jingles that encourage the people of Enugu State to re-elect Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

The best entries will be selected by a panel of experienced judges, with outstanding participants receiving attractive cash prizes. 

The selected jingles may also be adopted and deployed as part of their public enlightenment, mobilisation, and electioneering campaign activities for the victory of Governor Mbah and the APC in the 2027 governorship polls.

The Prizes to be won includes, 1st Prize: ₦2,000,000, 2nd Prize: ₦1,000,000, 3rd Prize: ₦750,000, 4th Prize: ₦600,000, 5th Prize: ₦500,000, 6th–10th Prizes: ₦250,000 each, 10 consolation prizes

The Competition Rules also includes that,  the competition is open to musicians, songwriters, vocalists, music producers, and creative talents, who are indigenes, residents or well-wishers of Enugu State.

Entries may be submitted by individuals or groups. Each participant or group may submit a maximum of five (5) original entries.

Entries must be original compositions created specifically for this competition and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any person or organisation.

The jingle shall promote the achievements, vision, leadership, and transformational programmes of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. 

The lyrics must contain a clear and positive message urging the electorate to vote for and/or re-elect Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

The jingle must creatively urge listeners to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and mention the party’s symbol (the broom). Entries may be performed in English, Igbo, a local dialect, Pidgin English, or any combination of these languages. 

Each jingle should not be more than 60 seconds in duration. Entries must be submitted in MP3 format and accompanied by the participant’s name, address, Local Government Area, telephone number, and a brief profile.

All entries should be submitted not later than August 20, 2026. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, lyrical content, musical quality, memorability, and overall campaign appeal. The judges’ decision shall be final. 

By submitting an entry, participants grant the organizers and other pro-Peter Mbah and pro-APC campaign and support groups the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, perform, broadcast,

Publish, distribute, and deploy any selected entries for campaign, publicity, mobilization, and electioneering purposes without any additional compensation beyond the prizes awarded.

The date for the announcement of the winners will be communicated in due course.
