2027: Group applauds Tinubu’s emergence as APC Presidential candidate

A noon governmental organization, NGO, on the aegis of ‘Arise-4-Tinubu Support Group’ on Monday applauded the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the country.

The group in a statement signed by the National Coordinator, Prince Emmanuel Ogoh and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki capital of Ebonyi State, said the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserved to be re-elected in the forthcoming 2027 general election.

The statement reads in part: “The emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential flag bearer, in the just concluded primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is not merely a political victory.

“It is a loud reaffirmation of the confidence millions of Nigerians repose in your visionary leadership, uncommon courage, democratic credentials and commitment towards the progress, unity and stability of our dear nation.

“Mr. President, history shall remain kind to you for the extraordinary role you played in transforming Lagos State from a struggling megacity into the economic heartbeat of Africa. 

“Through strategic reforms, institutional strengthening, infrastructural expansion and human capital development, you laid the foundation that has today made Lagos a model of economic prosperity and administrative excellence across the continent.

“Beyond Lagos, your political ingenuity and nation-building philosophy have over the decades produced one of the most formidable political structures ever witnessed in Nigeria’s democratic journey. 

“From the six geopolitical zones to the 109 Senatorial Districts and 360 Federal Constituencies, you have painstakingly built a towering political fortress driven by loyalty, competence, inclusion and progressive ideals.

“Your administration’s bold and transformative policies have equally demonstrated uncommon patriotism and courage in confronting the long-standing economic malaise that crippled national productivity for decades.

“Though difficult at inception, your reforms are already repositioning Nigeria towards fiscal stability, economic recovery, infrastructure renewal, investment growth and renewed international confidence.

“The courage to make hard decisions for the greater future of Nigeria distinguishes true statesmen from ordinary politicians, and Your Excellency has continued to prove himself as a courageous reformer committed to securing a prosperous future for generations unborn.

“As you prepare once again to fly the flag of our great party, the APC, we assure you of the total support, massive grassroots mobilization and total political commitment of the Arise4 Tinubu Support Group towards your resounding reelection victory. 

“We shall continue to traverse communities, wards, local governments and states, preaching the gospel of Renewed Hope and consolidating support for your administration.

“Nigeria is rising again under your watch, and history will remember this era as the period courageous leadership rescued the nation from uncertainty and redirected her towards sustainable greatness” the group stressed.
