The Onyawole K’Idoma thanked the people of Ado State Constituency for standing firmly behind her throughout the political process and for refusing to be swayed by what she described as falsehoods, blackmail and unfounded allegations allegedly propagated by some self-styled “big names” who sought to prevent her from securing the party’s ticket.
She particularly thanked Governor Hyacinth Alia, for his confidence in her and for publicly making it clear that the allegations leveled against her were all false.
She insisted that her greatest political strength remains the grassroots, stressing that her relationship with the people is built on trust, accessibility and genuine service.
Chief Ogenyi explained that despite the false narratives allegedly circulated by some political heavyweights, the people have continued to receive her with overwhelming love and unwavering confidence.
“This enduring relationship with the masses is one of the reasons I have consistently and constantly made efforts to give back to my constituents and remain connected to their needs.
“My friends are, and will always remain, the grassroots. You have stood by me, believed in me and refused to be deceived. I will continue to appreciate this love by doing more for you and remaining committed to your welfare and development,” she said.
In his remarks, the Director-General of the Lami/Alia Campaign Organization in Ado, Andrew Odumu, KSM, thanked supporters for their characteristic love, loyalty and support for the Deputy Speaker.
He urged them to sustain the same spirit and replicate the impressive support they demonstrated during the 2023 election by massively voting for the Deputy Speaker in the 2027 general election.

Odumu assured the gathering that the victory at the primary election was only another step in the journey, urging supporters to remain united, focused and committed to the shared vision of continuity and greater development for Ado State Constituency.
The celebration ended on a high note, with constituents expressing renewed confidence in the Deputy Speaker and pledging their continued support for her representation and political journey ahead of 2027.
