The Acting Governor of Cross River State,  Peter Odey, has backed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in River State.

Odey, however, disassociated himself from the statement credited to the Chairman of the South-South Governors’ Forum, opposing the decision of President Bola Tinubu to suspend the Rivers State governor, Fubara.
