The chairman, Elisha who made this known in a telephone interview withThe Nations News Nigeriacorrespondent, said “We are all in Rivers State to get something done in order to fend for a living while solving our livelihood problems.

He said that some people are lucky to get an opportunity, but are regrettably wasting it without considering where they come from, and it is very bad for them to easily forget their roots.

He said “I believe you knew how our parents are known for taking good care of our mothers, because as best known to you, no zaar man will allow his family to suffer or go hungry because is a taboo”

“Our youths particularly women to be more serious in going to school and if there is no money to go to school, they should engage themselves in learning hand work, because most of our girls now are coming to the city to work in the night club which is prostitution, while in where we come, that’s the Zaar land such a thing is forbidden”

According to the chairman, Elisha said that, “Our parents should try to know what exactly their children are doing or how they were living in their operational bases in the city they found themselves in before one keeps on demanding money from them.

He urged members of the Zaar Development Association (ZDA) Rivers State Branch, to stand up and look for something which could sustain their lives, particularly at this critical time of economic hardships.

He explained that some members prefer to spend their hard earnings in squandamenia and leveously or recklessly in their deceitful modus-operation which is not encouraging.
