‘Don’t be lazy in studying, Ebonyi gov. tells 250 Matriculating students

Ebonyi State governor Francis Nwifuru at the weekend has tasked over two hundred and fifty Matriculating students of the Blessed Martins College of nursing science and Blessed Martins International institute of of science to shun laziness in this studies.
The governor, Nwifuru represented by the Chief Judge of Ebonyi State Judiciary, CJ, Elvis Ngele applauded the proprietor of the college, Mary Chinedu Ogah for her visionary leadership in establishing institutions that provide quality education with high academic standards.

The Matriculation ceremony took place at the permanent site of the college, Ohatekwe Amagu in Ikwo Local government Area of Ebonyi State.
He charged the Matriculants to uphold the values of discipline, hard work, commitment, and adherence to the rule and regulations guiding the institution.
In a remark, proprietress of the institutions and wife of the Member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Mary Chinedu Ogah, expressed gratitude to the Ebonyi State Government for its continuous support and for providing a peaceful and enabling environment that has allowed the institutions to thrive and maintain academic excellence.
She applauded the newly admitted students, and charged them to be law abiding,and should shun all forms social vices and other activities that is capable of tarnishing their image and that of the institution.
Mrs Ugah emphasized that one hundred and fifty (150) students are from Blessed Martins college of nursing, while one hundred students are from Blessed Martins International Institute of Science, bringing to a total number of two hundred and fifty students that Matriculated.

In their separate reactions, the Deputy Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chinedu Onah, alongside the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Ikwo Local Government Area, Chidi Nwode, applauded the proprietress of the institutions for the good management of the schools.
They described the institutions as catalysts for development and platforms that will equip future generations with the knowledge and skills needed for growth and excellence.
