Benue APC Chairman, Omale vows that Gov Alia’s reelection is non negotiable.

The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale, at the weekend, hosted a grand get-together dinner party for members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) family and other critical stakeholders at his residence in Makurdi, the State capital.

The well-attended dinner party, brought together APC faithful, youth groups, and other critical stakeholders including the media, security chiefs, women groups and the Alia performing musicians from the State.

The occasion represents a very strong show of unity, strength, and renewed commitment of the APC family in the State, especially as the political atmosphere gradually shifts toward the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Omale, intimated that the core essence of the get-together dinner party was to thank God for His protection, guidance, and faithfulness over the APC family in Benue State throughout the year 2025.

He further announced that, the dinner was equally organized to appreciate party members, particularly youths and women of the  party for their loyalty, sacrifices, and continuous support for the party at all levels.

Chief Omale added that unity and togetherness remain the powerful tools for building a successful political party that would win any election, insisting that the reelection of governor Hyacinth Alia come 2027 remain non negotiable.

He specifically acknowledged that youths of APC in Benue State have demonstrated a home front-soldier-line,  that they have confronted danger, risk and escaped unharmed, saying that the party would forever remain grateful to them.

“The party wants to appreciate the youths in a special way for supporting  His Excellency to ensure that the Alia movement is not cut short. 

“The youth has really made us proud in the state. They have also promoted the party beyond reasonable doubt and that is why I have chosen them with  few others to have a dinner with them.

“So thank you for your sacrifice, love and patient as well as the moral support you have demonstrated and for promoting the good work of his excellency, governor Alia. 

“I want to assure you that this new year that we are beginning, there is a lot of hope, a lot of promise and aspiration that will lead you to your next destination.

“I want to assure you that Governor Alia think about you, plan about you and in cooperate you in his plan comes 2026. I will make sure that the youths of Benue state are not disenfranchised, but  stand firmly in wherever they are.

” The party will support you  in all your movements to ensure that the people are kept together promoting the party, especially for the reelection of  governor Hyacinth Alia come 2027.

“We are so proud of the youths because they know the angles, they know the jungles, they know the forest and all the ways and we are going to support them”, he stated.

Chief  Omale who is also chairman of the Enugu Orthopaedic Hospital, used the occasion to acknowledge the contributions of the Alia Performing Musicians(APM) who have been using their musical apparatus to promote the good governance of Governor Alia in the  State. 

He announced that very soon, the ruling party will launch a platform called “Alia praise- singers”  where those singers will be together to move alongside with the governor and ensure that the governor  receive his praises in tandem with his massive performances. 

“To the Alia Performing Musicians (APM), we have not abandon you. We just allow you to be strong and by the time we see your standard, we will present you to His Excellency, which we believe, you have majored the standard.

“I want to use this forum to also thank the media,  security and other critical stakeholders for your understanding and cooperation as well as your support in ensuring that our governor succeed in office. We will continue to partner with each and everyone of you till the end”, Omale maintained.

Earlier in his remark, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths Mobilization and Illegal Levies, Mr. Terver Gbanda, praised Chief Omale for his leadership style, openness, and commitment to the growth of the APC in the State. 

He described the get-together as timely and necessary, especially in strengthening bonds among party members across the State and assured that, he would continue to organise and mobilize the youths to support and work for the success of  Alia’s administration and also ensure his victory come 2027.
