Bauchi: Wunti, Central market bridge Nearing completion – Works Comm, Ketkukah insists

The Bauchi State Commissioners of Works and Transport, Titus Saul Ketkukah has said that the construction of two fly overs in Wunti and Central markets is nearly Completed.
The Commissioner said this during his inspections to the side of the construction. Said that the construction of Wunti Market is 90% completion while Central markets fly over is 80% completion.
He said that the main reason for constructing the fly over bridges awarded by the State Governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir is to ease traffic, reduce accidents, comfort to commuters and aesthetics.
He further said that the road diversions and barrikets have caused a lot of hardships to passers by and Individuals going to Wunti gate and central markets.Adding that Governor Bala Mohammed has directed timely completions of the flyovers at Wunti Gate and Central Market roundabouts.

While directing specifications in the design must be strictly adhered to, the fly overs must be completed soonest. It was reported that the superstructure of Wunti gate fly over is about 90℅ completion and central market fly over about 80℅ completion.
According to the commissioner, the Hydraulic structures have been completed at both sites. Earthworks and asphalt overlays will be done in a short time.
He was accompanied by the Director of Engineering Services, Jibrin M. Umar, Principal Residence Engineer at the sites, M. S Idris and his personal assistant, Mr. Andrew Dauda.
The Commissioner, Titus Saul Ketkukah, the Dan-Iya of Tapshin and Jarmai of Ngas, Bauchi State urged engineers of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) engineers handling the two fly overs make sure that they finished the construction of the bridges in time, in other people to continue moving smoothly.
