‘Nigeria needs prayers, not Changing Tinubu’s Govt  – Ex-Lawmaker, Yapak insists 

The former lawmaker of the Verre constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Umar Abdullahi Yapak, has said that what Nigeria needs at the moment is prayers, and not changing president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.

He said this in an interview with our correspondent in Bauchi. Said that people can only support president Ahmed Bola Tinubu through prayers, such that God will continue to give him wisdom, strength and knowledge to pilot the affairs of the nation.

Yapak further said that people should stop blaming the president because he is not not angel but are human being like Nigerians.

The former lawmaker said that all those who defected from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for another parties have been in power but nothing good of development comes from their respective communities, state and the country.

Yapak said that changing government in Nigeria, particularly during the administration of president Ahmed Bola Tinubu will not and never be the solution of the country problems, but people should go back to God for intervention.

According to him said that “We are not supportive, instead of supporting government through prayers because president Ahmed Bola Tinubu alone can not do everything”

He said that in the history of Nigeria, no any president has help the 36 state plus the Federal Capital Territory like Ahmed Bola Tinubu because there’s no any governor that is borrowing money before developing its state.

The former lawmaker said that before the coming of Tinubu in to power, most of the state are leaving on debt but now there’s is nothing like that.

Yapak commended governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for bringing massively development in Adamawa State.

He lauded Tinubu for ending the issue of University strike and helping students with NELFUND loan which really help poor children to engage in schools.

He further said that before the coming of Tinubu to power, many local government across the country, they were in the hand of terrorist, but through prayers he have restored them all, which is very good.
