Gov. Bala distributes 186 Vehicles to traditional leaders

The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, on Monday distributed 168 new vehicles to emirs, chiefs and district heads to enable them carry out their responsibilities.
The distribution of the vehicles to the traditional leaders held at the Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu square in Bauchi State government house.

He urged the traditional rulers to remain non-partisan, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and stay dedicated to their duties.
He further said that the distribution of the official vehicles to emirs and district heads across Bauchi State is part of his administration’s in order to strengthen grassroots governance and deepen community engagement.
The governor made it clear that the initiative is aimed at enhancing their mobility, expanding their reach.
According to him said that “I remain committed to extending this support across both long-established and newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and districts, ensuring that governance in Bauchi State remains inclusive and aligned with our broader development agenda”
He also emphasized the critical importance of close collaboration with the traditional institutions in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity.
On his part, the state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Isa Babayo Tilde, reaffirmed the ministry’s strong commitment to working hand-in-hand with traditional institutions, recognizing their vital role in maintaining peace and mobilizing the communities.

While, speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, expressed deep appreciation to the governor for providing them with vehicles.
He assured that the vehicles would be used responsibly and for the benefit of the people.
