Bogoro Local Government Mourn Death Of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi

The Bogoro Local Government Area, has mourned the death of the renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi. 

In their condolences, the local government Chairman, Yakubu Lawi Sumi disclosed this to newsmen in Bauchi. 

The council boss described late Dahiru as a great loss to Bauchi State and Nigeria. Added that Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was more than a scholar, was also a guide, a teacher, a reformer and a bridge-builder whose voice inspired generations across Nigeria and beyond.

“His contributions to the growth of Islam, moral discipline, peaceful coexistence and spiritual enlightenment will remain enduring pillars of our collective memory”

“Throughout his life, he exemplified humility, compassion and unwavering commitment to spreading knowledge. His teachings strengthened communities, healed divisions and reminded us of the timeless values of faith, patience and righteousness”

According to the chairman said that Nigeria has lost an irreplaceable light, and the Muslim Ummah has lost one of its most respected spiritual leaders.

He said that Dahiru was a revered Islamic scholar and the supreme leader of the Tijjaniya Muslim Brotherhood in Nigeria, known for his vast knowledge, spiritual guidance, and commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and unity 

The council boss, prays that may the Allah grants his eternal soul rest in peace and provides comfort to his family during this difficult time.

“At this moment of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with his family, the Darikar Tijjaniyya community, his countless students and all who were touched by his remarkable life. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, accepts his lifelong service, illuminates his grave and grants him Aljannatul Firdaus”
