‘Be honest In your work – Gov Bala charges New Police Officers

Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State on Tuesday has urged the newly recruited Police Constables to be honest in their work and always do what is right. 

The governor gave the charge during the passing out parade of the 720 newly recruited Constables, at the Bauchi State Police Training School in Yelwa, Tafawa-Balewa Road, Bauchi State. 

The 720 newly recruited Constables are from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano and Katsina States.

Among the 720 officers, 680 are males while 40 of them are females 

Governor Bala who was represented by his Deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau said that police work need courage, integrity, endurance and total sacrifice. 

He charges them in other not to forget what they learned during training because it will help them immensely for the development of the 7 state and Nigeria at large. 

The quality of discipline, endurance and patriotism that institutes to the young men and women which speaks volumes of the professionalism and commitment of their trainers. 

According to him, said that “Today as we gathered here to celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that police is not just a profession but it’s a calling that demands courage, integrity, discipline, and sense of responsibility.

He congratulated the new gallant officers, “You have work hard and endured the rigorous of police training that the world is waiting to be changed through professionalism and integrity.

He urged them to be ambassadors of their families, communities, State and Nigeria at large. Adding that their uniforms is a symbol of trust, service and sacrifice. 

“You will face challenges, difficulties and discourage once during service but what will make you to distinguish you from other challenges is your ability to face them with courage, wisdom and faith”

Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir expressed his appreciation to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and the Bauchi State Command for the training of the new officers.
