2027: APC is a most reliable political party In Nigeria – Senator Buba insists

Shehu Buba Umar, senator representing Bauchi South senatorial district, on Saturday said that the ruling All Progressive Congress APC remains the most reliable political party in Nigeria.

Umar said this during a political gathering in Magama Gumau, Toro local government area of the state.

He said that the journey of their party is about inclusive growth, equitable development, transparent governance,

peaceful coexistence, youth empowerment, technology-driven education, and, above all, the security and welfare of the people.

According to him said that “We built this house together, and we shall not abandon it to those whe once mocked, derided, and blacklisted it, only to now return seeking refuge after exhausting their selfish ambitions elsewhere”

He said that APC in Bauchi State has not only survived in opposition; it has grown stronger, more united, and more formidable than the ruling party in the state.

“I remain deeply grateful to our party for the opportunity to serve in the Senate. And with your support, I am confident that if entrusted with a higher responsibility in 2027, 

“we shall deliver unprecedented dividends of democracy to every household in Bauchi State”

The senator expressed his appreciation to president Ahmed Bola Tinubu for providing strong leadership at the national level, which continues to inspire confidence in the party across the country.

He also congratulated the newly elected party officials at the ward, local government, zonal, and national levels, said

 “You remain pillars of support, consultation, and hope. May your tenure be guided by the fear of God, justice, and service to our nation”

“My brothers and sisters, after deep reflection, wide consultations, and overwhelming calls from across our dear state, 

I stand before you today with humility and gratitude to Allah (S.W.A) to formally declare my intention to contest for the office of Governor of Bauchi State in the 2027 elections”

“With this in mind, therefore, given the dividends of democracy being experienced in Bauchi South which is evident to all and sundry, if given the chance under our amiable platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, we shall replicate same in the entire Bauchi State”

“We have to do better. That is why we are in the race. And for the sake of our people, the struggle to reclaim Bauchi and usher a new era of better governance in all respects has just started. For the capacity, fresher ideas, generational motivation and knack to turn things around”

“I assure you members of our party and indeed the citizenry of Bauchi State that we mean business. In the coming weeks, 

we are going to unveil our blueprint which is a knowledge and information-driven document on the path to attaining the Bauchi of our dream”
