Niger State Police Command got a new Commissioner of Police  as CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips  assumed duty as the 38th Commissioner of Police.

In a brief  ceremony at the Command headquarters on Thursday,  the new  Commissioner  took  over from AIG Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, psc fsi who was recently promoted and redeployed to a higher capacity.

CP Elleman, a seasoned Police officer with about 31 years of service is bringing his wealth of experience to his new capacity.

According  to the command  public  relations officer,  SP Wasiu Abiodun,  the new helmsman hails from Kaugama LGA of Jigawa State, and he was enlisted and appointed into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (C/ASP) on 25th June, 1994

He disclosed that the 38th CP of the Niger State Police Command has attended several professional courses.

Speaking shortly after taking  over the reigns of power, the new CP assures of his commitment and dedication to build on the success of his predecessor through his wealth of experience to ensure public safety, maintenance of law and Order and to reduce crime to the barest minimum in line with the Command’s Action Plan for the year.

He therefore solicits for the cooperation and support of Nigerlites, residents and members of the public towards achieving the set goals of safety for all.
