The committee, comprising key officials such as commissioners for Health, Education, Agriculture, Rural Development, and Transportation, will oversee the successful implementation of the initiative.¹
The inauguration, led by Secretary to the State Government Awwal D. Tukur, aligns with the National Steering Committee’s directives to provide sustainable and reliable power supply to underserved and unserved citizens.
The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) will contribute 60%, while the state and developers will contribute 30% and 10%, respectively.
