Niger Police Command presents N21 Million to families of deceased  families

The Police  high Command  has extended  a hand of fellowship to families of some deceased officers,

 Niger State Police Command presented cheques  totalling over Twenty one Million Naira to families of some 13 deceased officers. 

Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman said the gesture was in continuation  of the Inspector General of Police welfare scheme.

CP Elleman who presented cheques amounting to the sum of twenty-one million, six hundred and four thousand, eight hundred and ninety-one naira, sixty-five kobo (#21,604,891.65k) to thirteen family members.

The beneficiaries who are next of kins of deceased Police officers are under the Group Life Assurance Scheme of the Force, among other benefits.

During the presentation, the Commissioner of Police was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations DCP Falade A. Michael and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administrations DCP Aminu M. Garba.

 In his remarks, the DCP Operations on behalf of the Commissioner of Police welcomed the families of the deceased officers and condoled with them. 

He appreciated the IGP for his love and care, in remembering the families and loved ones of departed heroes who died in active service to the nation, urging them to accept the token as a form of succour.

He prayed that may God meet the bereaved at their points of need and God almighty would prosper their hands in all they do. 

While  appreciating them for their understanding and  patience, he wished them journey mercies to their various destinations, with the deepest condolences of the Inspector General of Police, the Commissioner of Police Niger State Command and the entire Nigeria Police Force.
