Ebonyi gov, Nwifuru speaks on Anyim’s contributions to Nigeria’s unity, democratic journey

The governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru on Wednesday spoke on the contributions of the former secretary to the government of the Federation, SGF, Pius Anyim Pius towards the unity of Nigeria and the democratic journey of the country.

Nwifuru, equally highlighted the valuable contributions, support initiatives of the former Senate president, Anyim, which according to him has engendered progress, development and uplifted Ebonyi agenda.

The governor, Nwifuru made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki capital of Ebonyi State, by the chief press secretary, Monday Uzor to mark the 64th birthday celebration of the former Senate president, Anyim.

The statement reads in part: “It is with great joy and deep appreciation that I extend my heartfelt birthday wishes to the former Senate President, and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.

“Your exemplary service to our dear nation, particularly your leadership in the National Assembly and your strategic role in governance, has left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s democratic journey. 

“Your  commitment to the progress and unity of our country, as well as your immense contributions to the development of Ebonyi State, remain a source of inspiration to many.

“Visible are your love and dedication to the Ebonyi agenda as you continue to champion and support initiatives that uplift our people and strengthen our collective aspirations” he stated.
