2027: Ebonyi APC boss, Emegha inaugurates over 62 polling unit mobilizers

The chairman of the ruling All Progressive congress APC, Stanley Okoro Emegha has inaugurated over sixty two members of the polling unit mobilization, PUM, group for the re-election of governor Francis Nwifuru in 2027.

Emegha who spoke through the zonal chairman of APC, South, Enerst Nwaeze while inaugurating the leadership of PUM at the Re-meritona hotels Abakaliki, said there is no vaccancy in Ebonyi government house come 2027.

Nwaeze who came alongside the zonal chairmen of APC, Ebonyi North and Central tasked citizens of Ebonyi State to ignore detractors and that any governorship from the South zone is a content creator.

 The APC chairman, Emegha inaugurated over sixty two State Executives of PUM, Board of Trustees, and Liaison Officers, and however, charged the members to put all their efforts to mobilize voters and ensure that the governor is re-elected in 2027 general election.

Earlier, the state coordinator of PUM, Ogbuefi Zaccheaus, unveiled a strategic framework designed to build a formidable network that will drive the grassroots campaign for governor Francis Nwifuru.

​Ogbuefi stated that the group will establish structure down to every polling unit across the state, deploying a minimum of 10 mobilization units per polling unit. 

He emphasized that the group’s campaign strategy will be door-to-door, farm-to-farm, market-to-market, and church-based, leveraging the achievements of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as its main slogan and platform.

He declared that “there is no vacancy in Government House come 2027,” asserting that Governor Nwifuru is entitled to complete an eight-year tenure.

According to him: ‎“Our decision to mobilize for the re-election of His Excellency is not based on sentiment, but on verifiable performance and his sterling leadership anchored on the People’s Charter of Needs.”

‎The coordinator said the organisation had also created directorates covering strategy and planning, security, inter-party affairs, medical services, media and publicity, contact and mobilisation, as well as monitoring and evaluation.

The member representing Onicha Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Ifeanyi Ogba called for political unity within the party.

He noted that the governor’s achievements in the state are numerous; scholarship programs, construction of over 675 kilometers of roads across among others will attract him victory.

​Responding, the group’s Liaison Officer for PUM, Godwin Aliuna, stated that the movement possesses the organizational capacity to mobilize voters across all nooks and crannies of Ebonyi State.

He noted that the governor Francis Nwifuru has no opponent come 2027 general election and that any other gubernatorial candidate is a counterfeit.
