“We produce the highest petroleum in the world but no functional refinery, it is a shame. On health Nigeria boasts of having the best doctors in the world,  going to London, US and other places. It is Nigeria doctors that you meet there to treat you, it is because we have a better life overseas.

“On educating our lecturers because they are hungry, not well paid, resort to all manners of malpractices, we don’t take them seriously because our leaders have their children studying overseas.

“Police are not well paid and that is their reason for bribery. Give them money on the road and they give you change. Our soldiers are not well equipped like the Boko Haram terrorists. Our youths now only think of Yahoo Yahoo.

“We only hope Tinubu will achieve two things like a refinery. Cost of transportation causes a high cost of food stuff and goods. It is getting more terrible these days.

“If the country is divided into three or four regions I believe there will be more competition. We are no more serious with oil production, let us go back to the region,” he pleaded.

“It is noteworthy that the essence of every government is for the protection of lives and properties of its citizens, hence it remains the cardinal aim of every government”.

In a press release signed by Ezekwueme and his secretary, Chidi Mbah, CLO pleaded with President BolaTinubu to direct Minister of Agriculture to device strategic means of reducing prizes of food stuffs and essential services to ameliorate excruciating sufferings of citizens as a result of astrological increase in price of goods and services.

“As a democrat and apostle of June 12th struggle he should also wipe out high poverty rate, unemployment by introducing the Poverty Alleviation Scheme that will directly target the vulnerable Nigerians” CLO stated.

The rights group equally appealed to Tinubu as a detribalized leader, human rights crusader, father of the nation and democrat to out of his usual magnanimity and patriotism apply political solution by ordering for unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as Independence gift to the people of Southeast.

“It will help douse political tensions, reduce drastically  the insecurity situation, youths restiveness and engrave your name in the hearts and minds of Nigerians,” CLO stated.

Earlier in his speech, the  President General, PG, Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders’ Association, ASMATA, Humphrey Anuna, lamented that leaders want Nigeria to die and called for division of Nigeria into regions.

“If we can go back to Britain, our colonial master, the better than running Helter smelter for our safety on a daily basis because of terrorist Fulani herdsmen.

“We are number one when it comes to insecurity in the world. The best thing is to divide Nigeria as some people believe that they are born to rule, which is the root cause of Nigeria crisis,” ASMATA boss stated

The Ogbaru zonal chairman of ASMATA, David Obidike, had in his take said, “For 65 years we have not moved forward. We have zero in all aspects of the economy.

“Nigeria needs overhauling, insecurity is zero, what kills us is bad leadership but we can’t go back to Britain to remain as slaves again. We have professionals now and with time we will overcome all these problems. We are selfish but we have the best brains. Everybody is tired of bad leadership in Nigeria.

“If not for Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Anambra would have remained stagnant all these years. Soludo’s achievements have saved us unlike other parts of the country and because of that we will return Soludo for a second tenure.

He did a lot for us.We are supposed to be enjoying the dividends of democracy by now as a democratic nation,” he revealed.

Also, the National President of Heavy Duty Truck Drivers Association of Nigeria, (HDTDAN), Uche Rogers Nebuwa, disclosed that for 65 years Nigeria remains a baby, stagnant in the midst of plenty of natural resources.

“Nigeria is going backwards with everything within it. A baby of 65 years is an adult and should fend for itself. However, we can’t go back to Egypt to remain as slaves.
