The Special Adviser to the governor of Kogi State on State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Musa Sandra, has reaffirmed the committed efforts of the communities in Ajaokuta Local Government area to ensure the smooth re-election of governor Ahmed Usman in 2027.
Sandra made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Kogi shortly after the visit of the Accountant General of the State, Habibat Oyiza Tijani Onumoko, to communities in Ajaokuta Local Government, particularly the ASCO Township.
Sandra, described the Accountant General’s visit as a clear demonstration of the current administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development.
“Habibat’s visit reassured the good people of Ajaokuta of the state government’s unwavering focus on community development,” she said.
“She conveyed the gratitude of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the continued support of our people and reaffirmed the administration’s pledge to leave no community behind in the state’s development agenda.”
The visit, according to Sandra, featured generous donations of cash and valuable items, which she said further reflected the government’s compassion and practical approach to uplifting citizens across the state.
“These goodwill gestures have rekindled our hope and strengthened our collective resolve to support the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,” Sandra stated.
She further praised Onumoko for her “unshakable commitment to the prompt payment of entitlements and other financial responsibilities,” describing her as a symbol of accountability and service delivery in the financial sector of the state.
Sandra also acknowledged the efforts of the House of Representatives member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, for his collaboration with the Accountant General to advance the development of Ajaokuta.
“I also want to recognize the warm reception extended by our former representative, Idrisu Lawal, as well as other critical stakeholders of Ajaokuta LGA who made the Accountant General’s visit a memorable one,” she said.
Sandra appreciated members of the Geregu Ward and the entire Ajaokuta Local Government for turning out in numbers to welcome the state delegation, noting that their show of support was a testament to the growing confidence in Governor Ododo’s leadership.
Concluding her statement, Sandra reaffirmed the community’s continued loyalty and support for Governor Ododo’s administration.
“We are fully behind the ‘Ododo 4+4’ agenda as we look forward to sustaining the gains of this administration beyond 2027,” she declared.
