According to a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, the programme will be officially inaugurated by Oluremi Tinubu.

The government said the initiative is designed to strengthen agricultural development, encourage mechanised farming and enhance food security across the state.

Usman noted that the programme aligns with the Agricultural Transformation Agenda of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, which focuses on increasing productivity and modernising the agricultural sector.

He added that the intervention also supports the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which emphasises food sufficiency, economic diversification and rural development.

The state government called on farmers, stakeholders in the agricultural sector and members of the public to attend the event, describing it as a significant step toward repositioning Niger State as a major player in Nigeria’s agricultural value chain.
