Niger CP calls for NUJ’s support in the fight against insecurity

The newly posted Commissioner of Police to Niger State, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman affirmed that he will remain non-partisan in the discharge of his duties, even as he solicited for the support of NUJ in the fight against insecurity. 

CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman stated this when he paid a courtesy call on the  Chairman of Niger Council of the NUJ, Abu Nmodu at the IBB  pen house Minna. 

The Commissioner admitted that he inherited a tense security challenge confronting the residents of Minna:metropolis, but within two months under his watch the situation has significantly improved.

” I’m here to discharge my constitutional responsibility i am not going  to be partisan by aligning with any political party

” I will not incline myself to any party but seen discharging my duties effectively “

According to the Commissioner as a trained Lawyer, he will ensure that officers and men of command protect human rights..

” Under my watch I will ensure that citizen rights are protected not violated by using the arms aimed to protect against them”

He calls for synergy and collaboration with the Niger council of the Nigeria union of journalists to serve as the eyes and ears of the command in the fight against insecurity and other social vices in the State.
