Insecurity: Gov Bala to deploy technology to track criminals in Bauchi

The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has said that the State has become safe corridor in the midst of insecurity.
Abdulkadir made this known during the presentation of the 7 operational vehicles to the vigilante group at the Government House premises.
He stressed that Bauchi State is rounded with a lot of Insecurity.
“Am happy with the governor of Taraba state, Agbu Kefas has initiated cross border between the states continuous to him that we have to look at the problems and challenges of Insecurity and banditry especially in dajin Madam that is jointly shared by Bauchi, Plateau, Taraba and Gombe state”
He commended the efforts of the Bauchi State vigilante group with the support of the security agencies in the state who are always leading the way to the vigilantes
He said that the State government will establish strong duty post in his Duguri home town, Futuk and other places to make sure that they give support to vigilantes in other to keep leaving the State peacefully.
The Governor said that the main reason of given the seven vehicles to the vigilante group is to renew their fleet so that they can be going hard places easily.
“We’ll deploy technology, we have been to Tunisia which very soon we will establish drum system around areas so that we can know the movement of criminals in other to track them, by doing so we will now show how our dear State can tackle insecurity with the support of the experience security agencies like the military and others.
In his part, the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Sani-Omolori expressed his appreciation to the Governor on behalf of all security agencies and described the donation as a reinforcement of the state’s integrated security strategy.
He assured Governor Bala that the seven vehicles given to the vigilantes is not only for them but for all of the security agencies in the state to work with and bring peace in Bauchi State.
The Police Commissioner promised the Governor that he will be monitoring the movement of all the vehicles in other to be use properly.
