Bauchi’s  50yrs: A Story of Endurance, Unity – PDP Chieftain, Wakil reveals

The Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Godiya Iliya Wakil better known as (GIWA), has said that the Bauchi’s 50th of creation stands as a glowing testament to the endurance, unity, and unwavering determination of a people committed to progress and harmonious coexistence.

Wakil who is the former candidate of the party for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency in 2023 general said that over the decades, Bauchi State has steadily evolved through visionary leadership, institutional reforms, 

He said that only that but the industrious contributions of its citizens, recording remarkable strides in governance, education, agriculture, infrastructural development, and socio-economic transformation. 

He said that “On this auspicious occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebration, I extend my profound congratulations to the government and the resilient people of Bauchi State as we commemorate fifty years of purposeful existence, historical relevance, and collective advancement since its creation in 1976. 

Added that “This landmark anniversary stands as a glowing testament to the endurance, unity, and unwavering determination of a people committed to progress and harmonious coexistence”

The party chieftain further said that the milestones reflect the noble ideals of the founding fathers and the relentless sacrifices of generations who laboured selflessly to position the state as a beacon of stability and growth.

“As we celebrate this historic milestone, it is my earnest prayer that the next fifty years herald an era of renewed hope, sustainable development, enlightened leadership, and inclusive prosperity”

He commended the wonderful contribution of the past and present governor’s for bringing massive development to the state.

The former candidate of the party for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency prayed that may Bauchi State continue to flourish in peace and dignity, fulfilling its vast potential and securing a brighter future for generations yet unborn.
