2026: Niger Gov. Bago charges Christians to coexist peacefully with other religions

The  coordinator to Niger State Governor , Muhammed Umar Bago has assured that the Governor is  committed towards peaceful religious harmony between the Christians and Islamic faithfuls to regain the lost glory of the state.

The Coordinator Pastor Lawrence Mohammed Isah stated this in a statement issued in Minna to the   Media as part of government efforts to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst the two religious bodies.

 He disclosed that, 2026 will be a year of renewed hope for Christians compared to the previous years, adding that “In  2026 God will  restore the lost glory of the state by transforming the state to the satisfaction of  every Nigerlite”.

 According to him, in the new year Christian in  the state will be free from all forums of evils and wickedness perpetrated by kidnappers and Banditry as all the religious bodies have re awaken their faithfuls to end the problems that have been distorting  peaceful coexistence in the state.

 Pastor Lawrence assured that with prayers and fasting by the  clerics the land have been freed from  any selfish Act’s that will pose another nightmares to  the citizens of the state as one with God is majority..

 The Coordinator noted that, the recent embargo lifted by Governor Umar Bago on the learning of Christian religious knowledge CRK in  schools indicates that  the governor is not  biased but have equal treatment for all.

 He urged the people of the State to embra prayers as the only antidote that detonates any evil plan, adding that we should pray without ceasing,it is the only weapon to save humanity from evil acts.

He however urged Christians to usher in 2026 with prayers to enable Governor Umar Bago to succeed and actualise his New Niger agenda.
