2027: Group seeks for Gov Bala’s replacement, tips senator Ningi for governorship

…urges PDP to give him automatic ticket

The Bauchi State Vanguard group has urged the leadership of the State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to give automatic governorship tickets to Senator Abdul Ahamed Ningi to take over from governor Bala come 2027.

The chairman of the Vanguard group, Sani Adamu made this known while briefing newsmen at the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Secretariat, Bauchi council.

He said that the reason why Bauchi PDP should give automatic governorship tickets to Senator Abdul Ahamed Ningi is because since 1999 has never changed political party and he is the longest serving senator and has the experience and the capacity to be Bauchi State to come in 2027.

According to the group, “After careful examination and deep consultations with relevant stakeholders, thousands of youths across the 20 local Government Areas of Bauchi state, community and some of the volunteer non-governmental organizations in Bauchi state. 

“We unarguably declared our interest to support Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi as the next governor of Bauchi State in the upcoming 2027 General election.

‘We can boldly say with all sense of modesty that we have record ed outstanding success in leadership of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi particularly concern ing youths and nations building Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi Academic and leadership intelligence successes are not just a credit to him alone but to the entire Nigerian youths, students and society irrespective of religious, ethics or any status.

The Vanguard group said that Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi fights corruption in all ramification and that makes him a leader worthy of emulation.

Ningi also gave the youth folks an opportunity to grow; the freedom to accomplish, achieve and excel, backed by trust and confidence he should never neglect to know that helping people to win is one of his greatest legacy and virtues of a great leader.
