A major political development has emerged within the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress as governorship aspirant, Dziyaulhaq Abubakar, officially stepped down from the race in support of fellow aspirant, Ahmed Aminu Tijjani Galadima.

In a dramatic show of loyalty and political strength, the former aspirant also donated the sum of N100 million to support Galadima’s governorship project ahead of the APC primary election.

Speaking at the event, Dziyaulhaq said his decision to withdraw from the contest was driven by the need to build consensus within the party and avoid internal divisions that could weaken the APC’s chances in the state.

He described Ahmed Aminu Tijjani Galadima as a competent and visionary leader capable of repositioning Adamawa State for greater development and inclusive governance.

According to him, “This is not about personal ambition but about the future of our party and the progress of Adamawa State. After wide consultations with my supporters and political associates,

“I  have decided to collapse my structure and support Ahmed Aminu Tijjani Galadima for the APC governorship ticket.”

Dziyaulhaq further pledged to mobilize no fewer than 225,000 votes for Galadima during the APC governorship primary, assuring delegates and stakeholders that his political structure remained solid and fully committed to delivering victory.

Political observers within the party believe the alliance could reshape the dynamics of the APC governorship race, considering Dziyaulhaq’s influence and grassroots support across several local government areas.

Responding to the endorsement, Ahmed Aminu Tijjani Galadima expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of patriotism, maturity, and commitment to the growth of the APC.
