‘Visitation of APC National Chairman to states scare PDP, ADC, Others – Gambar

By: Ajiya Ayuba, Bauchi
The Abuja-based Bauchi State politician, Haruna Adamu Gambar, on Monday said that the visitation of the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, is scaring opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In an interview with our correspondent, Gambar said that Nentawe is scaring parties like the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), Labour Party and other parties in the country.
Gambar, who is the President of the Council of Nigeria Youth Advocates (CNYA), described the National Chairman as an intelligent and God-fearing man who will use his cognitive abilities and initiative to ensure President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s re-election and the success of all the party’s candidates across the country.
He said that it’s because of the good leadership of president Tinubu and Nentawe that state governors, senates, reps, and state lawmakers are defecting from opposition parties for the ruling All Progressive Congress (ACP) for better Nigeria.
According to him, “I have had people saying that Nentawe doesn’t have the capacity to bring President Ahmed Bola Tinubu back as President in 2027, but I urge them to wait and see how he will prove them wrong in 2027.”
He further said, “Nentawe contributed immensely for APC in 2015 till date, That’s why the opposition parties are scared of him, fearing he might replicate that feat.”
Gambar said that recently, when Nentawe visited Jigawa State, he received many defectors from different political parties joining APC, which is part of his achievements as National Party Chairman.
Adding that “I believe it’s because of the Chairman’s visitation to state that our party, APC, has shifted Ward Congresses to January 2026 instead of November 2025, in order to finish receiving people into APC before then.”
He appealed to the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, to join Nentawe in APC so that they can continue building Plateau State and the country together.
“If Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang does well by his people and gives an account of the allocation and state revenue by injecting them into state infrastructure, education, and healthcare, he has nothing to fear.”
“But I wish he would join APC so that they can join forces with the current APC National Chairman, Nentawe, to bring more development to the state.”
Gambar described APC as a giant political party in Africa, urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in order to continue witnessing both human and infrastructural development in the country.
