Tinubu’s SSA, Nweze commences skill-up S-East training, empowerment  program

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on community engagement South East region, Mrs. Chioma Nweze has announced the commencement of the Skill Up South East training and empowerment program.

She said that participants will be drawn from each of the 35 local government areas within the South-East region in Nigeria.

Nweze made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State.

The SSA, Nweze stressed that the training program is anchored under the visionary framework of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The statement reads in part: “The inaugural phase of the Skill Up South-East initiative has officially commenced.

“It features a cohort of 35 selected participants drawn from each of the 35 local government areas within the South-East region in Nigeria.

“The empowerment/training program begins with tailoring/fashion designing, with other skills to be added soon” she stressed.

The frontrunner of the program, Nweze further stated that the training programs aims not only to equip individuals with transformative, industry-relevant skills but also to ensure their seamless integration into the economic landscape through structured post-training empowerment and sustainable business support systems.
