Police, ICPC partner in the fight against corruption, unethical practices in Niger

The independent corrupt practice Commission, ICPC has been assured of a robust synergy in its fight against corruption and other unethical practices.
The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips stated this when he received the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Mr. Kennedy Ebhotemen, FCAI who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the State Police Headquarters, Minna
The State Polic command spokesperson SP Wasiu Abiodun in a statement quoted the RAC Commissioner for soliciting for a collaborative effort in the fight against corruption.

The ICPC Commissioner said the commission was saddled with the responsibility of fighting against corruption, through enforcement, prevention and public enlightenment.
He asserted that the visit was meant to familiarise, collaborate, build capacity and seek for requisite synergy to fight corruption and other unethical practices in the State.
According to him, there was a need for intelligence sharing to carry out the task, as well as inter-agency training on anti-corruption crusades to sanitise the system.
