‘There will be No PDP in Adamawa after Gov. Fintiri -Yapak insists

The stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Abdullahi Umar Yapak, on Wednesday said that after the tenure of the State governor, Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri, there’s no going to be People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
In an interview with our correspondent, Yapak said that it was the then crisis of their party that made Fintiri to be governor, if not APC would have been the ruling party in Adamawa.
Yapak who is also the former member representing Verre constituency in the House of Assembly said that, since they have rectified all their problems, APC will surely come back to power in the state, by the Grace of God, especially in 2027.

He said that since PDP at the national level has divided, that’s exactly what will still happen to them at state level which will be a plus to APC.
According to him said that “Due we don’t want PDP to continue with crisis ahead of their national convention and the fourth coming general elections,
“we want opposition because in government that there’s no opposition that administration will not and never be complete.
Added that “If they resolve their crisis is good to them, but if they don’t is leave to them, but all I know is that wether they resolve or not, they can not do anything to APC both at national to the state level in 2027”
He further said that the ruling APC in the country is not afraid of any opposition parties, because they have complete team comprising of the president, national party chairman, ministers, state governor’s, senators, reps, stakeholders and the party supporters. Added that “We have nothing to fear”
He said that since all the APC elected and appointed are performing wonderfully well in their various states Nigerian should them another chance in other to continue witnessing both human and infrastructural development across the 36 state plus FCT that formed the country.
The former lawmaker, Honorable Abdullahi Umar Yapak, thanked the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda for going round the country.
He described Nentawe as someone who always brings people together, good listener, someone who is working with new technology. Yapak said that with all the qualities that the national party chairman have, APC will get it very easy in 2027.
He also commended the efforts of the National Security Adviser (NSA) Mal Nuhu Ribadu by influencing developmental projects into the state.
Yapak said that influence of Ribadu in Adamawa state, many people joint APC and others are on their way to join, which is a very good development to the party, the state and Nigeria at large.
The former lawmaker, call on people to support the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in order to continue having peace, unity and progress in the country.
