The Canadian Government has said it will share fifteen million dollars to 3 Nigerian States of Bauchi, Kaduna and Kebbi to improve health, nutrition Status of Women, Adolescents and Children.

The UNICEF Specialist on Health, Fatima Cheshi disclosed this during an engagement meeting of Global Affairs Canada Initiative, held at Yimir Hotel in Bauchi State.

She said that the fifteen million Canadian dollars will be shared to the 3 States in other to run the affairs of the Health of Women, Adolescents and Children in their various States.

According to the UNICEF Specialist, Fatima Cheshi, said that the program of the Canadian Government will last in the 3 affected Nigerian state for 5 years.

In his part, Rilwanu Mohammed who is the executive director Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency applauded the Canadian Government for providing 3 States with 15 Million Canadian dollars.

He promised on behalf of the Bauchi State government that after gotten the money, they will run the affairs of their health accordingly.

The Bauchi State Executive Director of the Primary Health Development Agency, Rilwanu Mohammed said that the contribution of the Canadian Government to 3 Nigerian states will definitely improve health, nutrition Status of Women, Adolescents and Children.
