The honour which was bestowed on them during the commissioning/matriculation/ Meritorious service award ceremony, including launch of #500million for construction of permanent site of the school, held at All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha, was preceded by a Pontifical Mass officiated by His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Maduka Okeke, Archbishop of Onitsha, who was represented by the Diocesan Vicar, Very Rev. Fr. Johnson Okafor.

Presenting the award, the Trinitas School of Evangelization commended Ezeokenwa’s fear of God, high moral standards, patriotism, and charismatic servant leadership, noting that his politics of morality and principle have positively impacted citizens and inspired faith-based integrity in public service.
In his response, Ezeokenwa who received the award of “Advocate of Evangelization,” expressed deep appreciation to the Onitsha Archdiocese and the Trinitas School of Evangelization for the honour done him, and dedicated the award to God Almighty for His grace and guidance.
He reaffirmed his belief that politics should be an instrument for advancing the common good, emphasizing that APGA, as a movement founded on the “Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya” philosophy, remains committed to people-centered governance, social justice, and moral rebirth in leadership.
Speaking further, the APGA National Chairman also dedicated the award to Governor Chukwuma Soludo describing him as “a divine instrument through whom God is redefining governance in Anambra State.”
In his own remark, Ezekwueme thanked the school for honouring him with award of “Great Achiever”, in recognition and appreciation of his tremendous contributions towards preaching, spreading and practising the bible, protection of human rights, dignity, championing the causes that lack assistance, being voice for the voiceless and a dogged advocate for justice and good governance.
Ezekwueme commended Governor Soludo for his unique wisdom in baning graduation and Christmas parties in public, private and mission schools describing graduation ceremony as a conduit pipe for extortions and exploitations of parents.
“Government should ensure strict, holistic and transparent implementation of this laudable policy recalling that before the ban he had urged Soludo to ban it because it has no moral, reformative, transformative or educative advantage to the students and parents.
“The most worrisome is the outrageous school fees by Mission Schools which parents are lamenting, asking if they are not under government authority and supervision,” he stated.
The Member representing Onitsha South 1 in the State House of Assembly, Fred Ezenwa while comparing the evangelization of these days with those days, stated that it is now too dicey, but urged the Evangelizers not to relent despite the present challenges.
“There are so many distractions now in the public challenging evangelization, but you should not relent in propagating the gospel,” he urged them.
Earlier, the former member of the State House of Assembly representing Onitsha South 1,
Emeka Anaebunam, expressed satisfaction with the role being played by the school towards evangelical work and urged the school management not to relent.
Anaebunam who is popular when he served as a lawmaker for his fumigation of his constituency against mosquitoes, harmful reptiles and other flies, was nicknamed “Dr. Ogwu Anwu”, by his admirers.
He also paid glowing tribute to Governor Soludo for his rapid infrastructural development of the state adding that his second tenure bid is not in dispute as those numerous achievements will speak for him come 8 November this year
According to Anaebunam, “We are only waiting for the appointed date, we are in a hurry to vote for him because we are satisfied with what he has done, touching all spheres of the economy. Education, health, road, employment, etc. That is why I said we are in a hurry to vote for him before he changes his mind but we know he can’t because he is God-sent to better our welfare.”
The planning committee chairman, Nduagu Christian lauded the Archbishop, Okeke, for his unwavering support, commitment and paternal blessings that have been the bedrock upon which the school continues to grow.
The CEO of AFF Landport Global Estates Ltd, Osim, had in his speech lauded the school for its evangelical work and pledged to allocate a land to it for the construction of its permanent site.
He expressed satisfaction with the Director of the school, Rev. Fr. Anthony Igweagu, members of the planning committee and the Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha, His Grace, Valerian Okeke, for the establishment of the school for evangelical mission.
