Election: Zaccheaus Emerges New Bauchi ZDA Chairman, Others

Mr. Yohanna Zaccheaus on Saturday emerged the newly elected chairman of the Zaar Development Association (ZDA), Bauchi branch.

Announcing the result of the election at Nakwada driving school in Yelwa, Mr. Luka Yusuf who is the electoral committee chairman declered Mr. Yohanna Zaccheaus who scored 70 votes winner of the 2024 ZDA Election.

While his opponent, Mr. Silas Ishaya who scored 67, which the difference is 3 votes.

Other newly elected officials includes: Jondi Simon Peter as Vice chairman, Diman Ishaku as secretary general, Numshi Habila Danrimi as assistant secretary, Elisha B. Abdulkarim as treasurer, Zaccheaus Garu as financial secretary.

The rest of the officials are: Samuel Lura Ruwati as director of social and culture, Hakuri John as Public Relations Officer PRO I, Mathew Emmanuel as Public Relations Officer PRO I I, Zaccheaus Maigari Dauda as Auditor I, and Zakka S. Bukar as Auditor I I.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Mr. Yohanna Zaccheaus expressed his appreciation to the good people of Zaar land, and for coming out to vote for him.

” Those who voted for me and those who do not, am very grateful to all of them, this shows that Zaar has given me mandate to rule them and I promise to promote unity among Zaar land”

” I promise to serve them faithfully to the glory of God”

“The election was a real contest because the difference between I and my opponent is just 3 vote, though even a single vote has a power some one winner”

He therefore, called on those who didn’t win to take it as the will of God, and further urged them to massively support him in order to run all inclusive administration.
