Deputy Nat’l chairman NIHTE bags Engineering Excellence award 

……Emerges CED Magazine Professional Man of the Year

The engineering community is celebrating, Bola J. Mudasiru, Deputy National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE), after he was named CED Magazine Professional Man of the Year 2025

The award was presented on Thursday, 2026. CED Magazine said it recognizes professionals who have raised the bar for service, integrity, and impact within Nigeria’s engineering sector.

Mudasiru is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and holds fellowships with several other national and international professional bodies. 

With over 20 years’ experience, he’s known as a global infrastructure leader, civil engineer, and safety specialist. 

His work spans construction management, regulatory compliance, and strategic team leadership on major projects across Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement, the engineering community described his career as one built on “technical excellence, ethical leadership, and innovation.” 

They highlighted his role in advancing the built environment and national development, plus his commitment to mentoring young engineers.

“This award reflects his huge contributions to engineering practice and infrastructure growth,” the community noted, while wishing him continued success.

The CED Magazine Professional Man of the Year Award honors individuals setting high standards in Nigeria’s engineering profession.
