At last, Ken Eze, Ogbee, council boss, Nwali vow to stop fight, battle for supremacy in Ezza South

The senator representing Ebonyi Central senatorial zone, Senator Ken Eze on Thursday vowed to jettison any form of fighting, battle for supremacy with the Ezza South council Chairperson, Mrs. Euphemia Nwali and the former house of Representatives member, Laz Ogbee.

The trio; Eze, Nwali and Ogbee among other prominent stakeholders of Ezza South LGA, who spoke to newsmen shortly after a peace pact meeting, which took place at the Akanu-Ibiam international conference centre Abakaliki, vowed to seize fire.

In their sperate reactions, Sen. Ken Eze representing Ebonyi Central senatorial zone said: “We had a family meeting, the leadership of APC has called us to order through the party chairman, Stanley Okoro Emegha. He is our father and has called we the children and talked to us, and everything has been resolved amicably.

“You can see the council chairman of Ezza South LGA, Euphemia Nwali is standing beside me and other leaders of the council are here. With what you are seeing, there is a new breath in Ezza South and it is going to continue.

He however assured that noon of his supporters will cause any breakdown of laws and order or the peace agreement reached by the APC leadership in the state.

The senator, Eze assured that there will be no more battle for supremacy between him, the council chairman Nwali and Laz Ogbee who recently defected to APC in the state.

“Our supporters are already seeing us and they know that there is peace plan, and there will be no disagreement to warrant discipline. We are going to charge them to cue into the initiative that the Party has already established for us” he said.

In a swift reaction, the closest rival, Mrs. Euphemia Nwali who is the Chairman of Ezza South LGA said that: “I appreciate the governor Francis Nwifuru and the party chairman Stanley Okoro Emegha for the peace initiative.

“Party is supreme, and we are party members, whatever the party said, we will abide by it. We will work hard to make sure that peace is in our local government area. We will abide by the instructions of the party” she stated.

The Nations News Nigeria reports that the former house of Representatives member, Laz Ogbee who represented Ezza South/ Ikwo federal constituency mobilized his supporters to the peace pact meeting, though he was not disposed to speak to newsmen at the time of filing this report.
