A new Niger is emerging, it takes resilience, unity to define the future- Perm Sec

As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Infrastructure Development, Hassan Baba Estu  has called on the people of the state to show resilience and unity of  purpose as a new Niger gradually emerges.

“We celebrate, it is not just the passing of years, but the journey of resilience, unity, and progress that has defined our great State and nation.

The Permanent Secretary who congratulated the people of the state, and Nigerlites for their unbending  faith in the nation  assured Nigerlites that better days are ahead.

“In Niger State, under the able leadership of our farmer-Governor, Rt. Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago, we are witnessing remarkable strides in infrastructure and human capacity development”

According to him,  networks are steadily being expanded, modern facilities are being introduced, and deliberate efforts are made to connect rural and urban communities for economic growth.

“Beyond physical structures, Governor Bago has prioritized human capacity building”

He noted that,  the administration is ensuring that youths and women are empowered with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive

“This dual approach, investing in infrastructure and people represents a holistic development model that will secure a brighter future for Nigerlites

“I take this opportunity to thank His Excellency, Umar Bago, for his vision, courage, and commitment within just two years in office. His leadership is bringing real change to our dear state”

He explained that,  at the national level, Nigeria continues to pursue reforms that will reposition our economy, strengthen our institutions, and improve the well-being of the citizens. 

“But progress is a journey, not an event. Development requires patience, collective sacrifice, and continuous support for the government of the day

“I therefore appeal to all Nigerlites and Nigerians to remain steadfast, patient, and supportive of ongoing policies. With unity and trust, our challenges will become stepping stones to success”
