Nasarawa: Accountant General applauds Emir for enhancing Peace, unity in Lafia

The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Musa Ahmed Mohammed, has applauded the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage for enhancing Peace, unity and the development of the emirate and the entire state.
Mohammed made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Lafia, to mark the sixth anniversary on the throne.
He lauded the Emir’s unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and socio-economic progress, describing his reign as transformative.
“Since His Royal Highness ascended the throne in 2019, the Lafia Emirate has witnessed remarkable growth in various sectors, particularly in fostering social cohesion, education, and economic empowerment,” he stated.

The Accountant General emphasized that Justice Bage’s wealth of experience as a former Supreme Court Justice has brought dignity, fairness, and wisdom to traditional governance, further strengthening the emirate’s role in the state’s progress.
Ahmed prayed for continued wisdom, good health, and a prosperous reign for the Emir, expressing confidence in his ability to further drive the advancement of the emirate.
Recall that the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage I (Retd.), was appointed as the 17th Emir of Lafia on March 26, 2019, following a judicial career, including his tenure as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
