Worker’s Day: PDP Chieftain urges govts to promote workers’ welfare, rights

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Iliya Godiya Wakil, on Friday advocated for policies that promote workers’ welfare, protect their rights, and create sustainable opportunities for decent employment. 

Wakil who is one of the party aspirant for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency, said this during the celebration of worker’s Day.

He emphasized that every worker deserves dignity, fair compensation, and a conducive environment to thrive.

“Your dedication, resilience, and commitment remain the backbone of our economy and the foundation of our collective progress”

 “I celebrate your invaluable contributions and assure you of my unwavering resolve to be a strong voice for the people.

“Together, we can build a more inclusive, prosperous, and equitable society.

He prayed that may the celebration of the worker’s day be successful.
