150 golfers storm Minna for the 12th edition of Golf and tour tournaments

About one hundred and fifty Amateur golfers are expected to participate in the 12th edition of National Golf and tour tournaments expected to tee off at the Minna Cantonment Golf course from Thursday 29th of May to Saturday 31st .
The Minna Local organizing Chairman of, MLOC of the Golf and tour association of Nigeria, Wing Commander Dangana Sarki rtd made this known while speaking with Sports writer in Miina.
He described the tournament which is in its 12th edition as a means of like minds coming together to give back to the society by reaching out to the less privileged in the Society.
The Amateur Golfers he explained are drawn from various golf clubs across the country who registered to participate in the three days sporting event.
The Local organizing Chairman who was flanked by the Championship coordinator Brigadier General Mustapha Onoyiveta said the association has identified an orphanage in Minna the State Capital which it intends to upgrade and support as part of its philanthropic gesture for the State hosting the event.

exercise of like minds meant for improving the lives of the needy that commence since 1982 therefore, there is no prize money
“However each state we go we identify one major project that we support with help of our members to impact the lives of the less privileged in a community “
According to them, the association is self sponsoring with over 120 registered members across the country and has recently opened up an international partnership as it participated at an African golf invitational tournament at Uganda in 2023.
