Tinubu’s SSA, Nweze to brainstorm with S-East leaders on FG’s tax reform act, compliance

The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on community engagement, South East, Chioma Nweze is set to brainstorm with the leaders of the region on the federal government’s tax reform act and compliance awareness.
The Nations News reports that, Nweze convoked a stakeholders town hall meeting, slated to hold at Dome International Conference Centre, Enugu, with the purpose of addressing the challenges facing Small and Medium enterprises in the region.
The SSA, Nweze in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, said that the Minister of Works, David Umahi, governors and other prominent leaders of the region will be in attendance to brainstorm on the tax reform act and compliance awareness.
She stated further that, Chambers of Commerce Leaders, small and medium enterprises, national assembly members, State assembly members, ministers and state commissioners, traditional rulers, and Market women from the five states in the Southeast will also be in attendance.
Nweze emphasized that the South East stakeholders Town hall meeting, with the theme; “Tax Reform Acts And Compliance; Impact On Small And Medium Enterprises In The South East.” is targeted at boosting the economic development of the region.
It was gathered that the Executive Chairman, FIRS, Zach Adedeji is the Chief host of the South East stakeholders Town hall meeting, while ministers and national Assembly members and governors from the five states are the guest of honours.
