‘Tinubu is building world class superhighways to boost economy, trade – works minister, Umahi insists

The Minister of works, David Umahi on Thursday insisted that the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is building a world class superhighways to effectively boost the nation’s economy and connect Nigeria with other nations of the world.
Umahi who was among Nigeria’s delegation that joined Mr. President to France for talks on infrastructure cooperation between Nigeria and France, said it was a moment to discuss investment opportunities and bilateral possibilities between the two countries.
The Minister, Umahi who made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the special adviser on media, Uchenna Orji, added that “there is no doubt that this outing is strategic in the road infrastructure development roadmap of the Renewed Hope administration.
The statement reads in part: “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is walking the talk in its unwavering commitment towards stimulating sustainable economic growth through aggressive road infrastructure development.
“Mr. President’s political will to accelerate the completion of inherited road projects awarded by previous administrations and his bold and visionary initiative to build world-class superhighways to effectively and sustainably connect our trade, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and industrial corridors, as well as enhance social-cultural integration, we can be sure that the hope for greater future for Nigeria is assured.
He further stated that: “It was a moment to discuss investment opportunities and bilateral possibilities between the two countries.
“There is no doubt that this outing is strategic in the road infrastructure development roadmap of the Renewed Hope administration.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works “welcomed back the Minister of Works from this economic journey of national importance” .
