Senator, Yaroe, daughter empower 20 women, train constituents on Batik, Tie, Dye

Senator Binos Yaroe representing Adamawa Southern Senatorial District on Friday said that empowering his constituents are one of his topmost priorities, and as such, will alleviate poverty and sufferings amongst the people in the zone.
He made this known while addressing his constituents during the empowerment of over twenty women and training of youths on Batik, Tie and Dye, organized by his daughter; Lynda Rubi Binos (Lynn’s Armoire) alongside Peace Bassani Yohanna (Bassani Textile) and held at Green House Hotel in Mayo-Belwa LGA.
Represented by his wife, Mrs Gimbiya Binos Yaroe, the Senator assured the participants and the Adamawa South people as a whole of his commitment and determination to keep providing them with the needed dividends of democracy.
He called on the younger generation to engage in meaningful businesses and not to wait for white collar-jobs, urging them to use their God-given talents and initiatives to better their livelihoods.
“Don’t keep the knowledge you acquired here for yourselves alone. Keep learning and teaching others too at your respective communities. Start from home, neighbours and then the entire community.
“No knowledge is wasted. More of this and other similar empowerment training are coming for the benefit and betterment of the people of Adamawa Southern Senatorial District”, he stated.
Responding, Lynda Rubi Binos (Lynn’s Armoire) and Peace Bassani Yohanna (Bassani Textile) said that the reason of embarking in the training of the youths and women of the constituency on fabric artistic designs, and empowering them with aiding materials, will enable them setup businesses, become useful to themselves, their families and the society at large.
The participants who were selected across the 9 LGAs of Adamawa Southern Senatorial Zone underwent extensive training on the rudiments of batiking and dying which was held at Green House Hotel in Mayo-Belwa LGA.

According to Rubi, she and her friend Peace Bassani decided to embark on the project in order to contribute their quota in the empowerment programme of her father; Senator Binos Yaroe.
She noted that the participants were groomed in all that they needed to know about dying and batiking.
Beneficiaries of the training express their gratitude to the ladies and promise to use the knowledge gained from the training and be self employed and employ others
Highlight of training is equipping the beneficiary with a starter kid.
